Human Rights in Ireland

Judgment in A, B & C v. Ireland tomorrow

At 10 a.m. tomorrow, the European Court of Human Rights will deliver a Grand Chamber judgment in A, B and C v. Ireland.,  a case which concerns restrictions on the availability of abortion in Ireland (see Court press release here). We will provide a basic analysis of the judgment at the earliest opportunity and hope to feature expert guest commentary on the decision in the days which follow.

We first discussed A, B and C here, and covered the oral arguments in the case last December here. Readers may also be interested in this post, written for us by Professor Patrick Hanafin as part of our first anniversary blognival.
